Ian has been associated with Teletrade since 2000 where he served as a
marketing consultant to Teletrade's parent company, Greg Manning Auctions,
Inc. He successfully initiated many e-Commerce projects including the Mr.
Wantlist concept. As President of Teletrade, Ian currently
manages key aspects of marketing, operations and technology.
While at Greg Manning Auctions, Ian was responsible for KISS The Auction,
the multi-million dollar memorabilia auction conducted in June 2000 by Greg
Manning Auctions, Inc. in conjunction with Butterfields.
Prior to joining Greg Manning Auctions, Ian worked for Stanley Gibbons
Australia as a philatelic buyer and valuer from 1995 until 1999. He handled
many important sales including the Purcell Collection of Kangaroo and Map
Series, The Mackey Collection of Australian States/Pacific Islands and the
Morrison Hill China Collection. (The Morrison Hill collection set the
record price for a foreign stamp sold in Australia with the famous and rare
Sun Rays Issue). Ian also put together the company's first paper money
auction featuring one of the finest New Zealand Bank Note Collections ever
formed.
Ian now resides in Southern California. He is still an avid traveler,
enjoys listening to '80s Pop Music and plays way-too much squash for his own
good!
