Sunday, March 23 Teletrade® Premier Coin Auction!
Teletrade®'s March 23 Premier Auction will be a different sort of offering! We will offer nearly 700 lots including collector type coins ranging from Half Cents up through Commemorative Gold coinage and modern issues, with each lot fully described and imaged on our website. Prices will range very broadly, with lots from $30 to over $15,000.
Please note: There will not be a printed catalog for this auction - however, lots have been posted to the website, and every lot has been professionally imaged. You will be able to bid as normal - online and by telephone. Lot 1226: Silver Commemorative 1936D Boone NGC 65 Full mint luster. Only a few miniscule ticks on Boone's portrait. Very pleasing overall. Just 5,005 pieces struck. Estimate: $150-200.

Lot 1401: $5 Gold 1882S NGC 65 Attractive satin-like golden rose mint luster. Well struck. Surface blemishes consist of merely a few shiny, shallow breaks in the mint luster. Strictly Gem quality and remarkably attractive. Just 17 NGC certified MS65; one finer. Estimate: $3,000-3,500.

Lot 1000, a 1652 Pine Tree 6 Pence, in PCGS 50 grade; Lot 1006, a 1794 PCGS 50BN Half Cent; Lot 1011, 1799 PCGS 25BN Large Cent, Sheldon #189; Lot 1020, an 1857 Flying Eagle NGC 65 Cent; Lot 1029, a 1909S VDB NGC 66RD Cent, which is splendid and rare; Lot 1044, an 1861 NGC 67 Three Cent Silver Piece; Lot 1047, 1866 Proof Rays PCGS 66 Nickel; Lot 1057, 1913 Proof Type 1 NGC PR67 Nickel; Lot 1065, a 1926D NGC 65 Buffalo Nickel; Lot 1087, a 1859 NGC PR68 Half Dime; Lot 1137, 1857S NGC 64 Quarter; Lot 1139, 1863 NGC 66 Quarter, superb; Lot 1152, 1918/7S PCGS 53 Standing Liberty Quarter. Lot 1170 is exceedingly rare, an 1844O Double Date PCGS 50 Half Dollar; Lot 1172, an 1849O NGC 64 Half Dollar is almost Gem and very scarce thus; Lot 1189 is a 1917S Obv PCGS 63 Walking Liberty Half Dollar and is one of the keys to the series.
There are numerous Silver Dollar highlights, including: Lot 1302, a 1797 9 x7 Lg Letters BB-73 NGC 50 Bust Dollar; Lot 1305, a 1878 7tf NGC 66 Silver Dollar, a superb issue; Lot 1306, a 1878 NGC PR65 Trade Dollar; Lot 1310, 1880 NGC 66 Morgan Dollar, among the finest known! Lot 1324, a 1888 NGC 67 Morgan Dollar; Lot 1325, 1889 NGC PR66 Morgan Dollar; Lot 1328 is a very lovely example of the key issue in the series, the 1895 NGC PR63 Morgan Dollar, which is with deep original toning.
Some nicer gold lots include 1344, a 1855 Type 2 NGC 61 Gold Dollar; Lot 1357, 1839 NGC 58 Quarter Eagle, a rare issue; Lot 1390, a 1808 NGC 61 Half Eagle; Lot 1391, a 1811 Sm 5 PCGS 58 Half Eagle; Lot 1397, 1876CC NGC 45 Half Eagle; Lot 1401, 1882S NGC 65 Half Eagle; Lot 1431, 1868S NGC 50 Eagle; Lot 1482 is a rare territorial issue, an 1854 Kellogg & Co. NGC 55 $20, Kagin-1b.
