Teletrade® Silver Dollar Coin Auction!

New Users Click Here Teletrade® is pleased to announce our March Auction devoted exclusively to Silver Dollars of all types. There will be over 350 lots of Bust, Morgan, Peace, Trade, and some Modern Commemorative Silver Dollars only, with values ranging from $30 for a Choice 1882S PCGS MS63 Morgan Dollar up through $18,000 for a Choice 1889CC NGC MS63DMPL Morgan Dollar, among many other rarities.



All coins will be on display at the Baltimore Coin Convention, March 14-16. Teletrade® Table #607 or at our Southern Californian offices by appoinment.

   Lot 1069: Modern Silver Commemorative 1996D Smithsonian $1 PCGS 69
Full satin-like mint luster. Superb! Estimate: $100-130.
   Lot 1236: Silver Dollar 1892CC NGC 64
Deep mint frost, accented with a hint of golden iridescence. Average strike. Contact marks are absolutely minimal and unobtrusive. High end for an MS64 certified example. Estimate: $1, 150-1, 550




Some highlights include:
Lot 1084, a 1798 Heraldic Eagle (BB-124) NGC 50 Silver Dollar; Lot 1086, 1863 NGC PR64 Seated Dollar; Lot 1087, 1873 PCGS PR64 Seated Dollar; Lot 1091, a stunning Morgan Dollar is a 1878 7/8 TF NGC graded MS66. Other Morgans include Lot 1100, an 1878S NGC 67, one of the finer graded; Lot 1108, an 1879S 3rd reverse NGC 68 Morgan Dollar.

But certainly among the most notable lots in the auction are a group of some 30 or more NGC graded GSA Carson City Dollars, 1880CC through 1884CC in MS62 through MS65. All of these come in their original GSA holders along with their boxes of issue, and are among the hottest items in the entire silver dollar marketplace. Some of these lots include: Lot 1127, 1881CC GSA NGC 63 Morgan Dollar; Lot 1146, 1882CC GSA NGC 63 Morgan Dollar; Lot 1170, 1883CC GSA NGC 64 Morgan Dollar; Lot 1185, 1884CC GSA NGC 64 Morgan Dollar.

Other higher end Silver Dollars include: Lots 1192, an 1884S NGC 60 Morgan Dollar, a classic, scarce issue; Lot 1216, a spectacular 1889CC NGC 63DMPL Morgan Dollar, among the finer known as a DMPL; Lot 1223, 1890CC VAM-4; Lot 1234, 1892 NGC PR66 CAMEO Silver Dollar is splendid; Lot 1274, a 1903 NGC 67 Morgan Dollar; Lot 1289, a 1921 NGC 65 Peace Dollar; and Lot 1307, a 1923 NGC 67 Peace Dollar, superb. In this auction also there will be over 80 lots of modern silver dollar issues from the 1980's through 2001!
