Sunday, January 5 - Teletrade® U.S. Gold Auction!
Teletrade® will hold a very special gold sale the first Sunday of January 2003 with several hundred lots offered. Undoubtedly the key highlight here will be a small collection of $20 Double Eagles, which will very nicely fill out many a novice and advanced collectors' holdings. This sale is particularly strong in its offering of St. Gaudens $20 Double Eagles in mint state, from the 1907 High Relief to some of the late rarer dates.
The majority of the St. Gaudens $20 Double Eagles come in grades ranging from a minimum of MS63 to MS65 and are all graded by either PCGS and NGC only, and range in price from $425-450 up to over $15,000 for some of the rarer issues.

Lot 1024: $5 Gold 1878 NGC 60
Full, bright golden mint luster. Many shallow contact marks. Minimal hairlines. Scattered tiny dark specks, almost exclusively on the obverse. Estimate: $340-400.

Lot 1030: $5 Gold 1886S PCGS 62
Subdued, somewhat dark mint luster, accented with a touch of olive-sunset toning. Modest contact marks. A fine vertical pin scratch extends down Liberty's neck. Estimate: $230-280.
