    • Overview

    This privacy statement covers the site the Websites published and maintained by the subsidiaries of Spectrum Group International, Inc., a Delaware corporation, which are collectively referred to as "Spectrum," or the "Spectrum Group." Spectrum takes the privacy concerns of its customers very seriously. We have created this Privacy Policy to let you know what information we collect when you register with or visit our Websites, why we collect it, and how it is used.

    This Privacy Policy explains the data collection, data security, and use practices of the Spectrum Group's Websites, including Spectrum Numismatics International, Bowers & Merena Auctions, Teletrade, Greg Martin Auctions, A-Mark Precious Metals and Collateral Finance Corporation ("Website"), H.R. Harmer, Spectrum Wine Auctions, John Bull (verify servers are run locally). The terms "you," "your," and "yours" refer to the customer utilizing our Website. The terms "Spectrum," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Spectrum. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into, and made a part of our Terms and Conditions, which governs your use of this Website in general.

    By using this Website, you agree to this Privacy Policy. This is our entire and exclusive Privacy Policy and it supersedes any earlier version. Our Terms and Conditions take precedence over any conflicting Privacy Policy provision. We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy. When we do, we will also revise the "Last Updated" date of this Privacy Policy. For material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by placing a prominent notice on the home page of our Website or by email. We encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed about how we are protecting the Personally Identifiable Information we collect. Your continued use of the Website constitutes your agreement to this Privacy Statement and any updates.

    What Information Is Collected?

    "Personally Identifiable Information" means any information that may be used to identify an individual, including, but not limited to, a first and last name, home or other physical address, an email address, phone number or other contact information, whether at work or at home. Spectrum collects certain Personally Identifiable Information from you when you become a registered user of our Website. Information we collect may include your name, phone number, address, e-mail address; and where applicable, credit card or other payment information, demographic information, purchases, auction activity and bidding history.

    In some cases you can choose to modify, edit, or delete your Personally Identifiable Information by visiting the "my account/settings" page through a link available on the home page of each Spectrum Group's Websites. In order to provide the most convenient experience possible for our customers, the servers on the Spectrum Group's Websites also automatically receive and record information from your browser on our server logs when you visit our Website, including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you request. You can set most web browsers to inform you when a cookie has been sent to you and provide you with an opportunity to refuse the cookie, or generally not to permit cookies and other types of automated data collection. However doing so will impact critical functionality and user experience. Automatically collected information is not linked to a user's Personal Identifiable Information.

    Our server automatically collects data about your server's internet address, known as an IP Address, when you visit a Spectrum Group Website. Your IP Address is used to help us identify you and gather demographic information, but does not include Personally Identifiable Information

    How Is The Information We Collect Used?

    We use Personally Identifiable Information to support the products and services offered on our Websites, notify you of technical updates or changes in policy, and to deliver other customer services. With your permission, we also may use Personally Identifiable Information to offer you new products and services.

    We also analyze server log data and certain Personally Identifiable Information in an aggregate form, such as aggregate purchase price and preferences, in order to develop new products or services that you can use. This information will only be used for aggregate analysis, and will never be presented or used in a way that identifies an individual customer without that customer's permission.

    In addition, we may use your Personal Identifiable Information to send you notices about upcoming events or otherwise correspond with you about products and services. You may opt-out of receiving such notices.

    From time to time, we may contract with third parties for services, such as the provision of operational support to the Website's server or marketing data analysis; these services may need to obtain access to Personally Identifiable Information in order to provide the service. If we disclose such information to third parties, it will only be for these limited purposes and we will take every precaution to keep such information secure; we will never disclose your Personally Identifiable Information to any third party for that party's marketing purposes without your explicit permission. Your Personal Identifiable Information will be sent to third parties used to process credit card information for billing purposes.

    Is The Information Shared or Disclosed?

    Spectrum does not rent, sell or share Personal Identifiable Information it collects about you to with third parties outside of the Spectrum Group without your permission except as noted in the previous section. However, Spectrum may disclose Personal Identifiable Information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (1) protect and defend Spectrum's rights or property, or (2) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of Spectrum users, our Website, or the public.

    We may use third parties to help us operate our Website and deliver our products and services, and may share Personal Identifiable Information with affiliates, service providers and other third parties to provide products and services for or through this Website.

    Right to Opt Out

    You have the right to "opt out" of certain of our uses of your Personal Identifiable Information. For example, at the time you are requested to provide Personal Identifiable Information on this Website, you may have the opportunity to elect to, or not to receive correspondence from us (either on our behalf or on behalf of an affiliate or third party). You may also make this request by sending us an e-mail to info@teletrade.com. Please understand that if you opt-out of receiving promotional correspondence from us, we may still contact you in connection with your relationship, activities, transactions and communications with us. You may control how you receive such non-promotional correspondence from us by updating your account preferences.

    The Security of Your Information

    Spectrum will take reasonable steps to protect the security of all Personal Identifiable Information provided to this Website. However, due to the inherent nature of the Internet, we cannot guarantee that information, during transmission or while stored on our system or otherwise in our care, will be absolutely safe from intrusion by others. Spectrum operates secure data networks protected by industry standard firewall and password protection systems. Our security and Privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorized individuals have access to the information provided by our customers. Spectrum protects the security of your information during transmission by are encrypted by VeriSign w/ "VeriSign Class 3 Extended Validation SSL" certification. The connection encryption is at least "TLS 1.0, RC4 with 128 bit encryption (High); RSA with 1024 bit exchange". Credit card information stored electronically is only accessible by authorized individuals. It is stored encrypted in our databases which are also secured and only authorized individuals have access to those servers. We will have no liability for disclosure of your information due to errors or unauthorized acts of third parties during or after transmission.

    Email

    Spectrum seeks to avoid sending unsolicited bulk email (spam). Spectrum sends email messages to customers who have provided us with their email address and have elected to receive mailings. If you opt out of promotional emails, Spectrum may still send email messages related to your purchase of products or services.

    Legally Compelled Disclosures

    We may disclose user information to government authorities, and to other third parties when compelled to do so by government authorities, at our discretion, or otherwise as required or permitted by law, including but not limited to in response to court orders and subpoenas. We also may disclose user information in connection with investigations or when we have reason to believe that someone is causing injury to or interference with our rights or property, other users of the Website, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities.

    Business Transfer

    Spectrum's regards its databases of customer information (which will include your Personal Identifiable Information) as a valuable asset. In the event that Spectrum, any entity of the Spectrum Group, sells all, or substantially all of its or their assets, are acquired by one or more third parties as a result of an acquisition, merger, sale, reorganization, consolidation or liquidation, such databases containing Personal Identifiable Information may be one of the transferred assets. By using the Website you consent to such transfer of your Personal Identifiable Information.

    Your Access Rights

    In some cases you may review and edit the Personal Identifiable Information that is stored in your user account on this Website (e.g., your passwords and other contact information) by visiting a "My Profile" or similar area of your account on this Website or by e-mailing info@teletrade.com or calling 800-949-2646. We will send you a copy of the Personal Identifiable Information we have on file in your user account (if any). You may send us new or updated information at any time. For example, clients may change their passwords and validation reminder at any time. We will endeavor to respond to your request to access, update or delete your information as soon as practicable. Before we are able to provide you with any information correct any inaccuracies or delete any information, however, we may ask you to verify your identity and to provide other details to help us to respond to your request.

    Third Party "Linked-To" Web Sites

    When you are on our Web Site you may have the opportunity to visit or link to, other sites, including other Websites operated by other members of the Spectrum's Group or by unaffiliated third parties. Websites not operated by Spectrum may collect Personal Identifiable Information about you. Spectrum does not control sites that are operated by these unaffiliated third parties and is not responsible for the information practices of these sites. This Privacy Policy does not address the information practices of those other Websites.

    Changes to this Privacy Policy

    Spectrum reserves the right to change or update this Privacy Policy, or any other of our policies or practices, at any time, and will notify users of this Website by posting such changed or updated Privacy Policy on this page. Any changes or updates will be effective immediately upon posting to this Web Site. Under certain circumstances, we may also elect to notify you of changes or updates to our Privacy Policy by additional means, such as posting a notice on the front page of our Website to sending you an e-mail.
